The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA) is one of the main Irish accountancy bodies with in excess of 5,000 members and students. The CPA designation is the most commonly used designation worldwide for professional accountants and the Institute’s qualification enjoys wide international recognition.

 

The Institute fulfils its statutory role as a recognised body by overseeing the professional activities of its members in practice, and ensuring that education and training standards are maintained. As the first accountancy body to introduce a mandatory regime of Continuing Professional Education, the Institute ensures that all CPAs remain at the leading edge throughout their careers. The Institute provides a quality service to its members and students, which has been recognised through the award and maintenance of ISO 9001:2000.

Grafton College of Management Sciences (Dublin Campus) has its Quality Assurance agreed with the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC). HETAC was established by the Government in June 2001, under the Qualifications (Education and Training) Act 1999. HETAC is the qualifications awarding body for third-level educational institutions outside of the university sector. It is the legal successor to the National Council for Educational Awards (NCEA). HETAC’s remit includes the validation of programmes, setting and monitoring standards and Quality Assurance in higher education and training. It is also charged with ensuring that student assessment procedures within institutions are fair and consistent, and ensuring academic and financial protection for students in commercial educational institutions providing programmes validated by HETAC. Australian Institute of Business Administration (AIBA) was established to develop practical and critical thinking skills in the various disciplines of business and management. AIBA programmes deliver graduates who are knowledgeable and ready to work in the business and management areas in a wide range of professions. AIBA delivers undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications with a diverse range of specialisations that reflect the current and forecasted global business environment

 NCC Education qualifications are recognised worldwide and by many universities across the UK. NCC Education programmes offer exciting opportunities for growth in Business and IT fields backed by a truly international brand. Grafton College of Management Sciences has been granted accreditation by NCC Education to deliver the PgD in Strategic Business IT (awarded by NCC Education).

Accounting Technicians Ireland has become the leading accounting technician body in Ireland. This qualification is recognised worldwide and substantial exemptions are offered to graduates of this course with the senior accounting bodies. The ATI qualification is awarded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
