Cedric Assambo: (Lecturer)
Cedric, one of Grafton’s longest serving lecturers, is currently in the final stages of submitting his PhD to Trinity College having just completed extensive research in the field of ‘Microelectronic Engineering’. Cedric’s knowledge, experience and research into the area of electronics has proven to be invaluable to students studying information technology.

Lorraine Nolan: (Lecturer)
Lorraine is Grafton’s communications and research methodologies specialist. Since completing her PhD (2005) and being accepted as a member of the Irish Academy of Public Relations she has focused her energies in the area of communications and personal development. As a PhD graduate she also has extensive knowledge and experience of research and research methods which are an invaluable tool to students.

Joanna Joyce: (Lecturer)
Joanna is our resident legal eagle. As a practising barrister she brings practical experience and knowledge of the application of the law within the Irish legal framework. This experience, when added to her lecturing experience, has enabled students gain a firm understanding of the requirements of Irish law and its impact on the business environment.

Gemma Davis: (Lecturer)
Gemma is our resident accounting lecturer. During her career she has managed a diverse work load from freelance trainer to company accountant. As a qualified accountant, with considerable professional experience, she brings extensive knowledge and practical experience of accounting and the importance of good accounting practice in business.

Colm Roach: (Lecturer)
Colm, another of our longest serving lecturers, brings over ten years experience lecturing in economics and mathematics. Since obtaining his Masters in Economic Science he has lectured extensively in economics at both undergraduate and graduate level. Having previously worked in the banking industry he has considerable experience and knowledge of the impact of financial challenges at both a macro and micro level

Tracy Gallagher: (Lecturer)
Tracy, another of Grafton’s longest serving lecturers, brings considerable experience of lecturing and working within the tourism industry and in particular tourism marketing. Having lectured and been engaged in programme development Tracy has the knowledge and practical business experience which transfers into a highly effective and interesting learning environment for the student.

Mervyn McCracken: (Lecturer)
Mervyn is the newest member to the Grafton lecturing family. He brings specialised knowledge and experience in the area of information technology and in particular programming and databases. A qualified and accomplished pilot he knows what it takes to succeed.

Sarah Mc Cann
Sarah is our resident dietician and nutritionist. Following her graduation, with an Hons Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, she qualified as a Clinical Dietiatian and Nutritionist and currently divides her time between lecturing and operating her own private practice. In the past she has worked on numerous Healthy Eating initiatives throughout Ireland and has taught people of all ages about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. In 2010 Sarah won the Meath Rose of Tralee which demonstrates the benefit of, not only healthy eating, but also a healthy lifestyle.

David Byrne
David is the Director of Studies of our English department and has been with us since June 2010. He comes to this post with twelve years experience in the English language sector; primarily as a teacher and manager. He is responsible for ensuring the ongoing high standard of all English language programmes and also directs our teacher training programme. David has a degree in English and a postgraduate qualification in Applied Linguistics.

Dr. Pamela Marin
Pamela has been teaching English in Grafton since 2008 and specializes in exam classes. She holds a PHD in history and is also the author of several history books. She makes great use of this academic expertise when preparing students to pass exams which will then equip them for academic life. Coming from California she is also our resident expert on American English!

Darek Bukowski
Darek is one of our most experienced teachers. Before coming to Grafton in 2007 he spent fifteen years teaching English and six years training people to become English language teachers. As well as being the principal contributor to our teacher training courses he also focuses on Upper intermediate and Advanced General English classes

Christian Mulhall
Christian has been teaching in Grafton since 2008. He has two degrees; one in law and another in Theology and perhaps this is one of the reasons why his classes are never boring. Currently he teaches Advanced General English but is extremely popular and effective at any level

Eddie Reilly
Eddie started teaching English in Grafton in September 2010 after spending six years teaching English in Spain. Eddie’s teaching style is relaxed and convivial and he is very much focused on communicative approaches to learning. Eddie holds a degree in English and French and a Masters degree in English and Publishing and uses those qualifications to successfully enhance his classes

Luvena Lalli
Luvena has been teaching in Grafton since July 2010 and specializes in our Elementary level classes. She spent many years teaching English in Asia and has also worked in the publishing industry as an editor. Alongside this experience she brings creativity, colour and a very dynamic, hands-on teaching style

Gerry Meaney
Gerry began teaching in Grafton in September 2010 and is one of our most experienced teachers with over twenty years teaching experience in Ireland and Spain. Gerry specializes in Pre Intermediate level classes and also contributes to our teacher training course. His classes are especially lively and fun and he is very popular with our students
