Given that the majority of our full-time students come from outside of Ireland and the European Union, we recognise how important it is for the College to help students find suitable accommodation. Our Accommodation Office is dedicated to this task and provides information on the types of accommodation available, and is pleased to assist students in obtaining a suitable place to live. We understand the importance of assisting students in finding accommodation prior to their arrival.

Grafton College works in close partnership with host families, a student house (VivaDublin) and a hostel (Abbey Court Dublin) which are open to offer accommodation to our interested students. For more details please contact the Accommodation Office.

Host Families

For many students studying abroad, a large part of their experience is to come in contact with the local culture, and the best way to do this is to stay in our homestay accommodation. Families also help students accommodated easier and find their way around the city. Generally located outside the city centre, homestay options can offer you a range of options, including single or shared rooms, with en suite or shared bathroom. In Dublin we know all our host families personally, so we guarantee you'll receive a warm Irish welcome! The price is €190 per week for a Single Room and includes breakfast and dinner provided by the host family. *Shared Rooms are also available, on request.

Student House

VivaDublin  offers private or shared rooms in house-sharing accommodation for short-term periods. The houses are located in proximity of Dublin city centre and they are equipped with everything you need to live in: bed linen, washing-machine, kitchenware and Internet Wi-Fi. Prices start from €120 for shared rooms and €210 for single rooms, including all bills.

Abbey Court is located beside O’Connell Bridge, which is the very centre of Dublin City. The Hostel is within walking distance of all of the major places of interest in Dublin. It has been recently renovated with new, brighter dorms, a hammock room, games room and cinema room. Abbey Court is a family run business and can guarantee you will feel at home. Prices start from 105 for shared rooms (options are Twin/Double, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20 bed) and include breakfast. The facility has free WiFi and lockers in all rooms; luggage room, self-catering kitchen and laundry services are also available on-site.
