Introduction
The Business English course improves your general English and develops the language skills required for the workplace. The course will give you an insight into the speaking, reading, writing and listening skills needed in business. Our course is designed to enable students to use English confidently in both professional and social situations, such as presentations, meetings, negotiations, telephoning in English and networking.

The course is tailored to meet the needs of a constantly changing business environment. The minimum entry requirement level for this course is intermediate. On arrival, you will be given our placement test in order to ensure you will be able to participate in this course. There are short revision tests at the end of every week to monitor your progress, and you will be given an exam at the end of the course.

Course objectives
Upon successful completion of the course you will have:
1. gained confidence in communicating in work situations.
2. acquired a wide range of business-related vocabulary.
3. improved your understanding of business texts and obtained the ability to produce different business text types yourself (e.g. formal letters, CVs, application letters, memos, minutes, etc.)
4. developed skills for expressing and discussing business ideas and economic concepts in the fields of management, human resources, marketing and advertising, finance and many more.
Achieving the above stated course objectives would need at least 2-3 hours of additional study time per day.
